It’s been 6 weeks already, it seems a lot longer written down and in black on my screen.
I actually can’t quite believe we’ve been here that long, it’s been such a whirlwind we’ve barely noticed the weeks fly by.
Relocations are always bound to be hectic in nature but due to the delay on our visas it pushed our move back into one of the busiest times for the pais movement training departments and just 2 weeks before our two oldest were due to start school.
So to give you an overview of a little of what we’ve been up to over the last 6 weeks here is a quick recap;
Training Preparation, Team Leader Training, Training Director Coaching, Global Team Office Relocation, Church Planting Preparation, Global Team Staff Orientation, Training Resource Development, School Enrolment, Car Finding, Relocation Shopping and Family Exploration.
As any of you who have relocated know, moving to a new country is a steep learning curve. There is lots to figure out, all the systems change over night and many of the mundane functional tasks even like grocery shopping take time for acclimatisation. We always expected this to take us way further out of our comfort zone than we have been before but whilst we have certainly found that to be true we are truly grateful for the ways in which God has so faithfully taken care of so many things, guided our feet and prepared the path for this adventure, from the boys schooling, to accommodation.
So as we continue to figure out our new environment we trust God will continue to meet us where our capacity ends and our choices can be used by Him to equip and empower hundreds of missionaries around the world with the pais movement.
